The English Muffin, The Next Day
Everything I’ve read about English muffins has said that they’re nothing like we know English muffins to be when they are fresh off the griddle. I had hoped that meant that the nooks and crannies I had expected would come in after cooling. No such luck.
What I got was a bunch of bread rounds that I can slice in half and toast. It’s just regular old bread in there. Nothing fantastic. Nothing exciting and not a nook to save my life.
The English muffin saga will continue. I will conquer the English muffin one way or another. It will take time and diligent study but I will conquer the English muffin.
